Radiation safety is a critical component in pediatric imaging. In Africa, radiation-safety is championed by the AFROSAFE campaign under the umbrella of the African Society of Radiology (ASR). AFROSAFE was launched on 17th February, 2015 during the 8th biennial Pan African Congress of Radiology and Imaging (PACORI) which was held in Nairobi, Kenya.
