CT can be a powerful tool for the evaluation of the chest and abdominal pathology in children. While not as commonly used as in the USA, CT studies represented approximately 15% of cases received from low- and lower-middle income Countries for expert second opinion by a pediatric radiologist in the WFPI teleradiology platform, over the last 4 years.
